The same thing happened to me she said I sounded young and the whole thing just didn't seem right. I then googled Microsoft support number and it was a completely different number.

An old trick used by scammers based in India who use VOIP phones and spoofed 0800 numbers. There are plenty of videos on Youtube about how these scams work.

Popped up on my screen and said to call to unlock. Called and a woman answered with very broken English saying I sounded like a minor and did I accept the charges to unlock my computer. I told her it was clearly a scam and I would be reporting then hung up.
