Says my smart meter is not working wanted to arrange a visit No Contact from my energy Company saying there was a problem blocked number

received call from this number , woman spoke with heavy accent, i told her i dont trust her call - its just number spoofing when scamsters use technology to disguise their real number but number of real company shows up on mobile.

Called saying they are calling from EDF and needed to fix my electricity meter, but did not receive an email from EDF. And would reported this as spam or fraud.

Number is operated by Voxbone SA. Most of their customers are scammers and nuisance calls so auto blocked!

Couldn’t understand the strong accent. As other comments suggest that this is from EDF, I contacted EDF and they said it wasn’t from them.

phone call from 03308088910. I contacted EDF and they sad nothing to do with them. My metre is working FINE...so I have now blocked the number...

Text from 07888871693 saying EDF smart is not connecting they need to come and fix - quoting to call 03308088910 or email at [email protected]. MPaas contact details (phone and email) are completely different also when checking directly with EDF online there is a smart meter status function which tells you the operational status of your meter - which was fine. THIS IS A SCAM TEXT - BEWARE!

Could be EDF I received a text message soon after, regarding my faulty smart meter. It could well be legitimate as my smart meter IS faulty.

Mpass on behalf of EDF, stating my smart meter not working. They're right, I unplugged it after a few months. Didn't know was sposed to keep it on. Anyway! Called Mpass who were helpful. Still, thanks everyone for reporting. Can't be too careful these days.

Received a text message from 07888871693 to say my edf smart meter has stopped working, and to ring this (03308088910) number to sort the issue. I don't have a smart meter, and the mobile number when I ring is just an automated American accent BEWARE

It's a genuine number, It is a company called Empass, who sort out meter issues for EDF. I have just arranged an engineer appointment with remote. This was them responding to my contact.

This call saying it from EDF saying something wrong with the gas meter, Need book appointment for the engineer to check. But EDF never call BLOCKED
