Had a call from this number this evening even though I am ex-directory and on TPS. Best case scenario is that this is from a genuine market research company who have been illegally given my personal details (name, number, and fact I have an account) by a bank. Worst case is that this is a bunch of crims, the caller ID is spoofed, they got my details by hacking and are trying to extract more personal info. Either way this type of call is not in my interest so I did not answer. If 'my bank' wish to contact me they have my e-mail address!!
This is really a fraud. Don't don't read the scam report sites where some people says its legit or they are Research Company. You will notice each scam site has same names who are telling that this number is not a scam or fraud. They have same text copied and pasted to every scam report site so they can keep defrauding people and steal bank details. They called me few times as well .
This is a genuine call, I use to work for Network research. They are contracted by your bank to call you up to get some feedback from you about the service you recieved. You don't have to take part and if your not happy with the call then complain to your bank, the bank gave your number to Network research, they asked Network research to call you to get your feedback. Also, they asked that the name of the bank is not revealed until the respondent confirms they are the account holder. Please do not direct your anger towards the people calling you, they do not enjoy the job but have to make a living some how, with most being young students or people who have been made redundent, they are also on zero hour contacts and under a lot of pressure to meet set targets, failing to reach targets results in less work being given to that employee. The number 08000128015 is the call centre number, which is only for outbound calls, 02076805100 is the contact number that accepts inbound and outbound calls, so this is the number to call if you want to contact them.
I kept getting called which was very annoying but I couldn't answer because I'm deaf... I use my phone for texting only. I have blocked this number.
Completely genuine. I work for a bank and all high street banks employ this market research company, who are bound by data protection laws which means they are unable to reveal details of where they are calling from until speaking to the account holder. These calls help improve the service that you receive in your local bank.
Just received such a call, asking for my daughter who was fortunately out at the time. The caller abruptly terminated the call when I said she was not here, and I was quite surprised to have a number to follow up, usually I find these type of calls withold their no. Thanks for the comments and alert.
Got call from them, they refused to say who they were due to 'customer confidentiality ' but expected me to reveal my name. What planet are they on??
The call is from Network Research, I used to work for them briefly! They are a market research company who are commissioned by several well known banks to conduct surveys on their behalf, because the banks KNOW their customers don't appreciate it. This feedback then gets passed back to the bank staff and specific branches Its basically just the banks way of spying on their staff, all the questions relate to the member of staff who served you such as how friendly they were, how long did you have to wait, how knowledgeable they were etc. Network research staff work till 9pm which is a ridiculous time to be calling people hence why I quit. So if you have been into your bank to do any kind of transaction even if it was just to ask a question, chances are you will be called and asked to take part in a 5 minuet survey about a 30 second visit. The bank also ask that we do not reveal the name of the bank until we are speaking to the account holder, apparently its for customer confidentiality and believe me this upsets A LOT of people, and quite rightly so! If you tell the caller you don't wish to take part we then code that as a refusal meaning you will not be called back, so if you have refused you definitely should not be receiving another call, also if it goes to answer machine the system automatically books an appointment to call back. But believe me, no one hates their jobs more than these people do.

Rang but silence at other end
This number just called, I answered with hello and then it went dead. None the wiser as to who or what the nature of...
This appears to be NHS Ayrshire & Arran. It was an appointment or health service call, not a sales call.
My phone identified the call as potential spam, so I ignored it
