Showed up as HASTINGS. ' Hi and thanks for choosing us. Your new policy number is <I removed this> . Download our app now to access your policy, make changes, make a claim and more https://brz.ai/8zT5r ' When I checked the details of the text, I saw the number 07958879850. Googled it and found several webpages, listing various scams sent from the same number. If I had not found this info online, I would have rung Hastings and given them the policy number, and they would have confirmed it's attempted fraud.

Had three text messages on 14th, 16th and 17th of June from this number advising me to get first Covid jab at different locations each time, but all in Preston. As I have had both jabs, is this a scam? Says message is from myGP

Text, purporting to be from Royal Mail. No message just letters and numbers, like an order/reference number . Four identical texts received in less than two hours. Quite worrying as today I sent a tracked parcel via Royal Mail . I blocked this number.
