07951 147602 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

12.02 6/9/25 Didn't recognise the number which the phone flagged up as out of area. Caller rang off when voicemail kicked in.

Call arrived on a saturday, so i assumed it was a friend and not business related...i said hello but caller remained silent for 30 seconds and then hung up... similar situation happens quite often during working-weeks...so... why make such pointless calls??

No one answered, just silent. Based on other reports was probably a scam. I've blocked it.

Have TPS. But this number keeps calling, and then cuts off. Suspect automatic call.

A Mrs Jane Smith called to tell me that my Microsoft computer program had been compromised by money launderers, gamblers and child pornographers. She then embarked on a long and plausible-sounding listing of Microsoft’s Reading address and a 24-digit code to identify my computer. She then asked me to go and turn on my computer but by this time I had lost interest and put the phone down.

Kevin rang on 07951 147 602 and said it was about my internet. I said No thank and hung up

The photo is a genuine shop. The call was silent, then call centre noises, then rang off. No-one genuine would behave like this. Is this number spoofing? Awaiting call from NHS so nearly came a cropper running downstairs. Don't trust the phone system!
