Message as follows:- "Hi mum, when you get this could you message me on 07864529369 I've managed to break my phone and the screen needs replacing having a stressful morning x" Obvious scam to get you to do something that will cost you money!
Text message received as follows: “Hey mum its me when you get this could you message me on 07548 293756. Not had a good start to the day managed to break my phone the screen needs repairing. X” This was scam.
Claiming to be a son or daughter that has lost their phone and will ask for you to contact them on new number, most likely to ask to send money for new phone. This is a scam therefor please do not reply or send money to that number.
