Automated call from Eon-Next, press 1 to speak to someone. I did, to see who it was, but they asked me to give them info about who I was after they called me, so I refused. I did give Eon a call to confirm if this was a genuine call, and it actually was! I've complained about the way they are calling people as it sounds like a scam. I've also complained about the fact they are calling me to chase payment for an invoice I received just days ago and was waiting for a credit note! We'll see if it happens again.
Foreign woman, called twice today 13.10.22, telling me on ansaphone, she was from (what sounded like) YONICS and wanted to discuss my account. Interestingly, the number came up as reported spam as it was displaying on my phone.
Called from E-on apparently, to my business phone. i have never been with E-on. 100% a hold scam.
This number has been calling numerous times leaves no messages and can’t call back either
Automated voice said the call was from Eon and to press 1 to be put through to an advisor. Got through to a woman who promptly hung up the phone.
Will say that they’re from Eon or whoever and will say that your premise is going to be fitted with a meter. Then they basically switch you from your current supplier. Basically fraud.
Called us said they are from Eon Next, told us a random account number, a street name and said they are calling about the outstanding balance on account. All the details they gave me were fake. SCAM on the next level.
Absolutely a scam and a very good scam. Possibly the best scam I have ever come across
Excellent scam, one of the best I have ever heard. DON'T FALL FOR IT, THEY ARE GOOD, IT IS A FRAUD
Watch scam interceptors on BBC Iplayer and they have pointed out these scam calls - anyone who calls you from a business then asking to to press 1 is a scam - they will then try to get control of your phone using broadcast software - hang up the call
Said they are from NEXT and to press 1 to be put through - have phoned me 4 times in less than 24 hours so I have blocked their number
Caller said she was from Eon-Next, but would not give any details to authenticate her call (such as our Eon Account Number).
Definitely a scam, said she was from Eon. Next but got very aggressive when I wouldn't give her any details.

They said nothing then the call ended.
No message left. Rang 5 times in one day. New number 01615235875 on last call 😅
Called about car finance refund. But wanted me to click links. I hung up
Probably a scam, said they had records of me enquiring about a flight from Manchester to Colombo, Sri Lanka, last...
