You right, it was the Capitol 1. Just contacted them and they confirmed they sent the message, they provide me with exact time the message was sent.

I replied valid to the message. What should I do know ?

Received text from capital one of a £95 amazon prime charge. Haven't used my capital one account in about 4 years. Called capital one fraud team and this was capital one. A £95 transaction is showing on my account now. Reported transaction as fraud. Don't ignore this text, call capital one.

They say its capital 1 . Its not I tried it and its fraudulant. Money messages and withdrawels saying youve done this. AVOID.

Message from Capital One was genuine. I was told unisual activity on my account. Things were purchased with card including today. Card has now been blocked. Also my 2 master cards have been hacked , I suspect my phone was hacked or the 3 machines I normally use have a cloning device in them

Legitimate text from Capital one querying if a purchase I was attempting was valid or fraud.

It's genuine. I had a text message checking out a purchase I made. I thought it was fraud but I called the fraud number and they verified it.

This is actually Capital One if you receive a text phone the number on the back of your card.

Received a text stating it was Capital One, they had the last 4 digits of my card, I checked my online banking and the transaction and amount they had put in the text was showing on my statement and wasn't me so I replied FRAUD and got another text to say they would call me within 24 hours.

I too received a message which said it was from Capital One and was suspicious. Spoke to them and it was a genuine message. My card had been compromised and they had already taken over £500. Card stopped now but could have been a lot worse.

Text message received from this personal phone number. They have my card numbers last 4 digits somehow l, along with a purchase - and they want a reply to see if it’s fraud or valid. But the said transaction isn’t showing in the app, so I am ignoring

Claimed to be from Capital One checking a transaction, but I'm suspicious so will call them direct myself.

Also capital one won't a fraudulent payment on x box. Payment isn't showing but the last 4 numbers of my card are correct

Just been messaged saying it’s capital one, the worrying thing is they have got the amount and details correct so I think capital one or apple or my phone have been hacked as I’m sure capital one wouldn’t use a personal text number for verification.

Claim to be from capital one asking verification if a payment made is valid or fraud. No such payment exists so ignored
