07860 021199 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

Text message saying they were from Gentoo Housing asking if I was on Universal Credit. Knew something wasn’t right as all contact from Gentoo Housing comes up on my phone as Gentoo even if I don’t have their number stored in my contact list.

This is from Gentoo. Please do not worry if you have replied.

I dont think Gentoo would message any of this, ive been with them for years and not once out of the blue been contacted to ask personal info via a message, not opened message and now blocked then googled number to see reports on this site and others going back to 2016 and loads of other housing associations named too. SCAM !!!!!

Text from Gentoo housing asking if my relative was still receiving UC. I called Gentoo, it wasn't them, but it's only in the last couple of months that I've taken calls through my own phone for that relative, and Gentoo was not one of the places I switched out, so this must be a very recent data breach from a source connected to Govt/Benefits/Caring.

Just received a text claiming to be Gentoo wanting to know if I'm in receipt of Universal Credit .

Asked me to reply saying if I was getting universal credit, claimed to be Gentoo.

I got this message this morning claiming they are from my housing association Onward Homes. I dont no how they found out this info but i dont believe its them. Saying it was believe housing asking if I was in receipt of UC still why would a landlord well housing association asking that of a mobile definitely scammers..

Saying they are from Believe Housing and asking if I'm in receipt of universal credit. I just blocked them. People have been reporting this number er for two years and it's still not deleted.

Just recived a text from this number saying they were messaging on behalf of Belive Housing and wanted to know if I was still getting UC. Contacted believe and they knew nothing about it.

Someone pretending to be my landlord. Saying I had a problem on my account, but called my landlord, no problem detected. I tried calling the number, it was the same automated message they called me with

Text from Believe Housing asking me to respond ‘NO’ if I no longer receive universal credit. Got a very similar text exactly a year ago from this number so not sure if it’s a scam or not.

I got the same txt they also txt me few months ago saying they are beleve housing and give me a date for my gas safety check

Been receiving texts from this number saying it’s PDCS regarding outstanding balance in my eon account but I’ve rung eon and have no outstanding balances.

Text saying homegroup but when I called homegroup they said it wasn't them. Tried called the number but it was saying number not Recognize

Message stated it was from Believe Housing, however when I called Believe Housing they said it wasn't them.
