The person said they where from EE and where going to put a 40% discount on my tarriff. I asked why they where calling from a Vodafone number when call with an EE offer and she couldnt really answer it. Just told me not to worry. I ended the call here.

Hmrc has said they don't let staff in anyway use there personal phones or personal mobile numbers to ring customers they said this number is not connected to HMRC it's a very dangerous scam

HMRC scam - Automated message when I answered said HMRC were sending me a letter and there would be legal action, prompted me to press 1 to speak to advisor. I pressed 1, it went to a call where Indian music was playing in background for a while before someone spoke. They asked how can I help, I said I was asked to press 1 to speak to HMRC advisor. I asked which office I had reached and he hung up on me.
