Since signing up with Lebara, I have had multiple spam / scam / robot calls! Almost two per day!
Called, answered then hung up. Odd but reading the comments I’ve blocked them
Indian guy said they was coming from Vodafone that I will have 35% discount of my next bill and asking for my account details to check my next bill.
Said they were from EE but loads of noise in the background (and I'm not with EE). Spam.
No answer when I picked up, I didn't speak at first and could hear people in the background, as soon as I spoke they hung up, Call back and its an invalid number.
automated call from HMRC advising legal action was being taken against me and to press 1 to speak to an operator then hung up.
Answered the phone, said they were from my provider Vodafone and I was able to get 30% off my next bill. Let the call continue before I asked if they’re sure they’re Vodafone as that’s not my provider - left with “Ok, Bye”
07379 938232 Called to say they are from EE and inform me my SIM card will be deactivated in the next 3 days as it is not compatable with their "NEW SYSTEM". Asked if I would be available next day to take delivery of my new SIM card being delivered by DPD. When I asked which address they will be sending it out to they said they could not give me that information as it is DATA protection and would I confirm my name address and DOB. They rang me so they should know this and should not need to know if they send me a new SIM and a letter of explanation. They then hung up
Calls, automated message when answered, put the phone down straightaway.
Recorded message claimed to be HMRC, came out with some legal sounding claptrap about fines & asked to hang on & talk to a rep. Nonsense!!! That's not how HMRC operate & certainly not from a private Vodafone number .... avoid getting scammed.
Automated call that said they were HMRC and taking legal action and to press 1 to speak to an officer. I didn’t press anything and it hung up.
Claimed to be HMRC and said they were instigating legal action against me and told to press 1
He asked me how much I pay on my contract when I have a PAYG sim and that I can get an upgrade with the contract I have
Rang for a while but did not leave a message phone picked up it was spam
Pretend to be from 3 mobile promotions stating they’ll drop my current bill price. Don’t give any information!
Claimed to be from the HMRC and that I had a case against me and that I should press 1 to speak to an operator.
Please block, they call and no answer, so you call back, they use a software to hack your data
They call, once you answer they hung up. They do repeatedly.
