I had a call from this number a couple of hours ago. The caller, who had an Asian accent, introduced himself as “Donald from Sky”. I put the phone down. Reading your comments seems to confirm this was a scam. I don’t think Sky would be using a Vodafone line.

Same, just had call saying my number is connected to a purchase of a new iphone, said they were from Amazon. I laughed and said so this is the part where give you my bank details etc right haha. Told me off and said this is serious. I laughed again, he hung up! lol . Absolute scam
Said they were from Amazon and that my account had been used to purchase an Apple iPhone for £630. When I told them I hadn't they said they would send a OTP and I had to tell them what that was so they could cancel the order. Amazon don't operate in that way. You pay for any order before you receive an email confirmation.
Claimed to be from EE (my current provider) offering 30% discount, once I confirmed security questions. After stringing them along for 5 minutes, got told to "F*** Off" before they hung up.
