They called on a Saturday afternoon claiming to be a housing repair company asking if any housing repairs were needed. I repeatedly asked what company they were and what property they were referring to. They would not answer the questions and hung up
Said from council housing association and asked if I had leak or damp. I asked what problem he’s referring to. He hung up. Scam.
Asked about leaks and damp. Told them I have not reported anything and they hung up. It’s a scam
Didn’t answer, literally called just now on a Saturday no message left if it was important or Legit they would have left a message. I do wonder where these kind of people get our phone numbers from
Said it’s housings association- regarding mold and leaks - asked for his name, company details and position- immediately told me he’s got a wrong number.
Mind you he didn't address me by name or address either to confirm the correct person or property. Just asked how I am and if I had any repairs. So maybe phishing? I had to ask who was calling, whereas professional companies usually tell you straight away who they are. Or so they should according to my training
A well spoken gentleman called me at 3:15pm stating that he was calling from 'the housing repairs team', asking if I had any leaks, cracks or damp. Seeing as it's a completely different number and my actual housing repairs team who is only open Monday to Friday between certain hours, and these people are calling me on a SATURDAY I would say that this would definitely have been some kind of scam, fraud or telemarketing. I told the gentleman on the phone to delete my number and hung up. Not today, demons!
iPhone highlighted this as a suspected scam call so didn’t answer.
Didn't answer as don't answer number not recognised. Left the caller to hang up. No VM left. Say its a scam of some sort
Called at weekend. Didn't answer, and no message left.
Cut it off without answering initially and they phoned back immediately. Let it ring out and no message left; legit companies and people I know would leave a message so I call this SCAM
