A man, who sounded as though he was in a Call Centre, trotted off the name of some company so quickly that I couldn’t make it out. He then started asking me if I had damage to my property. He advised they were working on behalf of the Council and were calling to see if my council house needed any repairs. I told him that I don’t live in a Council house but if I did and if that house did have repairs that were needed, I’d call the Council to report them not wait for some chancers like them to call me. I’ve had the same call on and off for a week and a half now even though I block each new number they use.

Rang me, from 03301741091. When I answered, they took ages to say something. I kept asking if they could hear ne. Someone said my name to check who they were calling, but they never responded to anything I said. I still asked if they could hear me. Then they hung up. Very probably a scam. It sounded like a typical call centre. I have no idea what they were ringing about.
