Claimed to be Santander reported a declined transaction from Apple
Claimed to be a text message from Santander saying it had declined a £1,079.99 transaction to Apple and if I recognised the payment to press Y to try again. If not to phone 0330 059 9225. I received the text on September 29 2026 at 18.11hrs GMT. The caller phone number shown was 07761 725502. I ignored it and will report it to the relevant authorities.
