I got a call from them and as soon as I answered they hung up. I don’t know what is was lmao

Contacted me on the normal scammer line that doesn’t connect until you speak. Tried to claim it was a feedback call from Vodafone (I’m not a customer) and never referred to me by name. I told him that it wasn’t a feedback call which he said it was, I said if that was the case and I was their customer then who am I, the idiot tried to quote GDPR rules at me as to why they could not give me proof that they had my details (that’s not how GDPR works), I asked him to remove my number and he went back into his feedback call loop. Stopped him and told him if he wanted to quote GDPR rules at me then I would at him, and under the GDPR rules if I tell you to remove my number from your database you have to do it. At which point he ended the call. Absolute scum of the earth.

They hung up after 5 seconds of dead air followed by 2 seconds of jibberish. Female, Indian accent, sounded like call centre noise in background

Guy on the other end of the phone said he was calling from Vodafone. I’m not even one of their customers ! He claimed to be calling about my poor signal, when I challenged where he was based he said in London. Having previously worked for Vodafone, their call centres are spread across Manchester, Leeds and India. Avoid giving any details!

Just hung up like +44 1896 506693. I was thinking the call was for something else so got hopes up for nothing. Really hope these horrible people get their karma.
