My partner just received a call from this number .. I was distracted but realised it was going on some time ., so I intercepted and told him I thought it was a scam . During the call porporting to be from 02 trying to port his number from virgin .. they txt invoices with his details on .. including one with his bank details on ! I heard him give his address and email but he insists he didn’t give his bank sort and account number .. ( I’m no so sure ) documents were appearing in txts .. about 6 of them .. all with his details including address email and bank details looking very official .. I’m thinking they typed them in as he was revealing details in the call ! This was very sophisticated and went on for about 15 mins ! I told him to put the phone down .. he did and they rang back being more pushy this time . I’ve now researched and it appears it was a scam .. it was very sophisticated and had I not intervened I dread to think how far it would have gone ! Please do not get drawn in with this scam ! BEWARE !

They claimed to be from 02 saying i am still using my old virgin sim card and my phone will be blocked. The sim card i have in my phone was put in by staff at the 02 shop in Peterborough city centre.
