I verified and its absolutely is EDF through actual EDF billing number to verify if it was a nuisance or not and they are setting date to come for installing new gas and electric meters as an update for performance of old meters. BUT it truly is EDF

Stated was EDF Energy to update installation of gas and electric. I Looked this number up here and said negative so I called EDF OFFICIAL number and they verified it absolutely is EDF so wasn't negative number. 02046322104 is legitimate EDF

Edf smart meter installation callers. Have arranged appointment and they're just checking time and date still fine. Call went straight to voicemail but they left a message

Supposedly from EDF I gave the wrong details and they still said it was fine so I assume its spam 🤷‍♂️

Just received 2nd call from this number saying they are from EDF.

They are indeed EDF smart meter team Install booked but they call and text so muschhhhhhhchh about it for good esss same

Call purporting to be from EDF advising me of installation of a Smart Meter, of which I already have one. I did not pursue the conversation, and cut short the call. A voice mail received and accompanying written message was obviously someone whose English was not her first language!

I answered call. But it came up on my phone as suspected spam. They said they was edf but I wasn't sure so I hanged up the phone.

I didn't answer and no message left, but going by previous reports if it's EDF about smart meters then fair enough - mine does need upgrading as the current one they installed years ago hasn't worked for a very long time and I've been submitting monthly online readings. Every time I've tried to book an appointment on their portal it says no slots available. I've nothing against smart meters.

They are EDF but I have told them countless times I don't want a smart metre & if they insist to put it in writing. I have never ever had a letter through post & emails re readings & online account all show I do not NEED a smart metre. Sick of telling them no

They have called me twice yesterday and today saying I need my meter updating. I told her to put it in writing to me and said she was a scam and put the phone down

Didn't bother answering - same number rang 3 days ago claiming to be EDF telling me I needed to upgrade my metre. I told them then if were genuine to send me a letter but have had no letter or email from EDF & never mentioned anything when I've provided readings. I suspect they are EDF but just trying to hit targets forcing people to get a smart metre. I don't NEED one & have told them countless times I don't want one.

Calling me nearly everyday telling me about an upgrade and i said not interested and no official letter from edf and yeah 💯 a scam.they have different callers

Claim to be from EDF said my metre's needed upgrading & needed to book an engineer's appointment. Their emails and online portal has never suggested anything of the sort. I asked if what she was talking about was installing a smart metre & when she said yes explained I am sick of them asking me to get one & have already declined & to send a letter in the post if genuine.

Left a voice mail saying they were from EDF energy checked EDF website it is noted as one of their contact numbers
