called about a leak/damp in my house - very strong accent, couldn’t understand what he wanted, probably scam

Said he was phoning to follow up on a report about issues with my house. Asked what issues and he asked me to confirm the house had damp and mould. I challenged that he said he was following up a so called report I filed, so he could tell me. Not sure what the scam is but definitely not legit

I couldn't really understand what he was saying. Something about damp & mould in my property. (I don't have damp & mould in my property) I asked who he was & what company is he working for & he hung up.
