The caller said they were Sky and when I told them there number wasn’t a sky number, they guy hung up.

DO NOT SPEAK TO THESE PEOPLE - INDIAN SCAM CALL CENTRE - THEY WILL SCAM YOU INTO HACKING INTO YOUR SKY MOBILE ACCOUNT AND ORDERING EXPENSIVE PHONES. This will affect your credit score if you fall foul to their scam.

Pretending to be from SKY with discounts, they want your email address to varify you but what they're really doing is resetting your password, once they have your email which they "need for varification" they will hit the forgot my password button. Sky will then send you a password reset one time code, but they will tell you thats an email they send you and can you confirm the code, once they have that they have full access to your account for whatever reason/buying products and services. It's not the most sophisticated scam but I guess the more trusting individual would fall for this. I hope thats helpfull. Thanks N
