Told me they were from Vodafone and had an urgent message about my phone number. They then hung up when I told them I’m not with Vodafone.

I received a call from a woman with a thick Indian accent claiming to be from Vodafone. She recited my number back to me and told me it was going to be switched off in 2days time. I said "OK thak you" hung up, ans reported this to Vodafone. I don't even have an account with them. Complete scam!

They only let it ring twice and cut the call. 100% a RED FLAG for a scam. I've blocked the number. If genuine they'll have other contact methods. If you don't know the number BLOCK. My spam protection stated 'likely spam' !
