Said they were from Sky, and attempted to change password on account. Scammers.
Called to say they were sky and were going to apply a 30% discount. Very broad Indian ladies accent which we could barely understand.hubby asked her to confirm the first line of our address to prove she’s from sky she replied “I can explain why we are applying everyone’s account with a discount”. Hubby hung up and she called back again. Still waiting on a link but our advice is don’t click on it and under no circumstances give any personal info. The number is for a company in London called Gama Telecom holdings and the picture is of what looks like an outbuilding with a digger outside.
Fake. Asks for your email address then sends you an email which is clearly phishing. Beware of clicking the link, always check the link and the email address it’s being sent from. I can assure you ‘great-site’ is not ‘sky.com’ ……..
Two calls now. Both unwanted calls from a woman with a heavy Indian accent. Couldn't understand much but enough to know it was rubbish.
Pretending to be Sky, take your email and request a password reset and ask you for the code. Scam, I asked them to hang up after telling them I knew it was a scam and the call quickly ended.
