Claimed to be from O2 saying need new SIM card as upgrading to 5 G, already got 5G
Came up as suspected spam on my mobile, clearly an autodial, was then directed to a call centre who informed me my sim was about to expire, at which point I became played along and became elusive to see if it was valid, and I was then told to stop wasting their time! That would either be very poor customer service or most likely spam, either way, not someone I want to deal with. As my sim is 5g, I’ve been on contract for tens of years, it seems very unlikely it will expire any time soon, fortunately I used to work in mobile telecoms and know that a sim will not just expire without a good reason.
Called a few times. Automatically came up suspected spam.
Phone said it was a suspected Spam, I have caller ID on my iPhone and it didn’t ring because like that. If someone really wants to get in touch with me, they have to tell me why they’re ringing and who they are, but they didn’t do that.
