Called saying he was from Vodafone, and as they are joining with 3, I would need a new sim card… he asked me to confirm my email. I asked him to first confirm who he was trying to call. He argued that he needed my details first to confirm he is talking to the write person. I said he should know who he was calling, he said why, I said so I know you are not a scammer… he hung up the phone
Its a indian scammer trying to scam people in the UK.
Came up as suspected Spam call. Asian voice with low volume. Could hardly hear him. Said there was a problem with my SIM card. Said he was from Vodafone. I told him I am not with Vodafone. He wouldn't accept that. Asked me which network I am with. I told him it was none of his business. Then I ended the call. I still don't what he wanted and he made me feel anxious and vulnerable.
