These peoe are a pain in the rear I've had at least 3 calls from slightly different numbers from the same place in the last week, the sime answer is to bar the number nice an easy on an iPhone and should be possible on all smart phones
This is a third party call centre. Poor charities have unwittingly employed a group of rude morons, to call and ask for your money. The most concerning thing, is that they have your details!! I don't believe i gave my charity permission to pass on my details, however, these rude people are ruining opportunities for charities to make money
I did one of those text codes to get a free breast cancer awareness booklet, they called me from this number to get address details to send it to. Also only got the one call and seemed legit.
This number has left me a text message saying " Thank-you for your generous text donation ".What donation, I don't know nothing about this...Worried now...
I would really appreciate it if this number would stop ringing me twice a day every day sick of it .
Came up on caller display, but phone went dead when I answered
Ha! Had this number call on my mobile this morning and landline this afternoon. If it is the RSPCA, I am cancelling my direct debit, because they were pestering me last year to upt my donation, I said if I could I would - stop asking or I'm cancelling what I do give - I'll answer next time to find out. Thanks for the info. Also, thanks JC, for info about TrueCaller, I'm downloading it onto my mobile as I type this.😊
I was getting calls from this number and various others so I installed The TrueCaller app on my mobile and now I can block them quite happily. It will also go off and search the internet so you can see what organisation might be calling you and you can "teach" it as well. All clever stuff. And no I'm not a shill for True Caller
I am registered with TPS but still get calls from this number. If, as I think, it is the RSPCA I will need to cancel my direct debit. I do not need to be chased for more money.
yes I texted the ad number to donate monthly, and have had a minimum of 4 calls daily since. I have read all the comments above, and was going to contact and set up a direct debit online, but after reading that the donations get spent on paper, etc, dont think I will bother now. Just buy food, collars etc and drop off. Which is a shame as they need vaccines, ops, speyed\bollacks chopped etc, where the coin is needed. Roll on winning the lottery, I'll have my own animal safety net!!
Believed to be a charity publicity/FR organisation. What pi**es me off about these folk is that they (in effect) take your donation and squander it on snail mail letters , phone calls and other initiatives intended to extract more cash... Wouldn't it be better to spend our donations on the cause we have responded to rather than try and gamble that they will get even more if they harass you for long enough.... I have found that the organisation 'Listen' is a repeat offender in terms of this wasteful and unethical fund raising strategy. It also raises the question of why charities 'farm out' their fund raising to these ****oles. What sort of an organisation happily profits from a NPO by developing such psychologically loaded / contrived productions ? Money that could and should go straight to the charity itself...
They phone me at all different times I never answer, just a nuisance
It's just a charity tryna save the animals , opt out if you don't want to donate!
I signed a petition to dog fighting illegal on change.org and ever since I've been getting calls from this number. Answered it this morning and it is a call centre operating on behalf of the RSPCA. Informed the bloke who rang me, who to fair is only doing his job; that I provided my details in support of a petition (where I opted not to have my details shared with any other organisations) does not give the RSPCA the right to store my details to call and beg me for money and to remove my details from the system.
As Dave suggested, I texted OPTOUT to 70030 and got a text reply from the RSPCA saying they will not contact me again. Hopefully this will stop the annoying calls.
Yet more dropped calls on my mobile from this number. It is a Company supposedly working on behalf of the RSPCA but they are a pig to get hold of to request them to stop calling. It has put me off making donations!
Fed up of this number calling me. And FYI - donations don't go to the animals - try go in the advertisement and wages coffers. If you want to help the animals save your money and buy food/blankets/toys and treats and hand them to your local centre.
Someone from this number call me once a day from last 4 month without chance to answer the call. So annoying
Had these calls for a while now. I phoned up RSPCA. Now I'm being dropped called by them! If more people get sniff of these hoax calls, it will deter people from ringing about a concern in the first place. Sort it
I also made a call to the RSPCA. But, If you own a iPhone or other smart mobile device's you can block the callers number in your call register. Hope that solves the problem for everyone?
Dave10 Dec 2014 If you texted an RSPCA ad and are getting these calls as a result, text OPTOUT to 70030 You will receive a message saying that your details have been removed immediately from the RSPCA
I was receiving calls from this number, I called the number back and there is an automated response that will give you a number (below) to allow you to remove you number from there list. It was quite an easy procedure you just call 0333 0110023 and enter your number and confirm and they say they will remove your number from there list within 24 hours.
This number has been calling me at least 3 times a day for a month now, even on a Sunday evening. I've added it to my reject list but it still shows up in my call log. Sick of it, how do I stop these calls??
If you texted an RSPCA ad and are getting these calls as a result, text OPTOUT to 70030 You will receive a message saying that your details have been removed immediately from the RSPCA
I have gotten 3 missed calls from them over this passed week
Barbara, I don't think withdrawing your RSPCA donation will save helpless, sick & injured and neglected animals. If you don't want the calls then register with TPS, don't let the animals suffer.
Made the mistake of donating to the RSPCA, been called by this number three times since with no-one on the other end actually saying anything!
I recently reported an incident of cruelty to the RSPCA, now they won't stop calling my mobile. I keep ignoring the calls but they just don't seem to get the message. Plus, they always seem to call at the most inconvenient times too! I will make a point of choosing another animal charity, more localised, for my donations from hereon, this is just pure harassment!
I reported one incident regarding my cat being attacked to the RSPCA and ever since been harassed by this number. I am on TPS but I guess since I gave the RSPCA my number at time of incident they can keep calling?
I've had calls from this number, always hanging up after one or two rings. I have e-mailed the RSPCA to look into this as it would be a terrible shame if a badly run call centre created ill feeling towards such a great organisation. I will always donate to the RSPCA as they do so much fantastic work in helping animals.
this number keeps calling my not evan giving me chance to answer my phone the cutting offf driving me mad
RSPCA will be losing my donations from now on. Fed up of rushing to answer my mobile
This is a call centre based in London that charities employ to call people for donations, I used to work for them, they're not a scam but they will continue to call you and try to get a donation as that's what they're employed to do. Also giving a sort code and account number doesn't mean somebody can use your details it's just to set up a direct debit and the person calling you can give you a charity number so that you can check with the charity themselves that, that person is genuine. If you don't want these companies calling you, you need to register with TPS.

This is a curious one: the robo-call purported to be from my bank, about unusual activity on my card. The call...
rang me early on a Sunday morning. - Missed call so no info.
Answered and phone went quiet for several seconds then cuut off.
Tried phoning me, said I had tried to phone them.
