I received a text from a Philippines number +639094024064 telling me that my mother Claire’s iPhone added a card! They instructed me to call "Action Fraud" immediately. Which is this number so I searched it up and clearly it's a scam.

I actually received a text from a Philippines number telling me that my mother, they used her actual name, had added apple pay via an iPhone she doesn't own because she's never had an iPhone. They instructed me to call "Action Fraud" immediately. Which is this number so I searched it up and clearly it's a scam. I already knew from the (Mothers name)'s iPhone thing but hey, I was curious.

Robot call red HSBC £500 fraud purchase at Argos, followed by a call from a private number claiming to be the Fraud investigator. It was a scam because the card number was cancelled at least 12 months ago.

Robot voice claiming to be hsbc fraud to confirm an unauthorised transaction, of course i am not an hsbc customer.
