Lady called Debbie calling on behalf of Welsh Water for home cover. Threw me as she was so lovely i doubted myself if i had taken it out. When i would not give details for the direct debit she soon hung up.

Pretended to be Thames Water calling on behalf of an insurance company. Apparently I had some sort of home water protection cover that he wanted me to renew. It was news to me as I do not have such cover. Told him I did not have such insurance cover but he insisted I did, so I told him to send me paperwork showing that, and he said that in that case I would miss out on the special price. I then hung up. Clearly a scam/fraud

They called to ask if I wanted to renew my United Utilities water contract that apparently I'd had for 3 years. They had my details, which was annoying, but I told them it was news to me and hung up!
