A lady with a cockney accent asked if I knew how much loft insulation I had and said they could arrange and inspection and carry out additional installation if needed. I said I knew how much I had, and was perfectly capable of laying it if the need ever arose. She then muttered about me needing an inspection, which I said I didn't, only possibly if perhaps selling the house, which we aren't. I added that as I was signed up to the TPS, she shouldn't be cold calling me. She said she got my number from "the database". I replied which database, and what evidence does she have that I had signed a privacy notice for it? She hung up.

Demanding to know when we last had an energy rating done on loft insulation. I asked if it was a commercial call. They would not say who they were or why they were calling. When I asked for clarity re the purpose of the call they hung up.
