ringing continuosly saying they are from EE finally today insisting that I must give them alph numeric details NOW or my current simcard will be disabled . they have to have verification so they can send my new simcard out.

Have missed multiple calls from this number but today answered one. Someone with heavy accent claims to be from O2/ Virgin and says my SIM will stop working soon because it's not 5G compatible. Someone will deliver a new SIM to me tomorrow - at which point I hung up. They have last 5 digits of my mobile number but seems like a scam to me.
Have been called around 10 times by this number. It rings 1.5 times then hangs up. I have also had a voice mail from them. They ring multiple times a day, then leave it for a couple of days before trying again. This is not a company I have any connection with and suspect this is spam.
