Just a one off, so far, caller hung up the phone upon my greeting.

Called this morning, said they were calling about my kitchen appliance insurance. Said I didn’t have any and called them scammers and hung up

Ask if I was the lady of the house. Said my appliance cover had expired. I knew that was not true. Said I was not interested and hung up.

Asked if I wad "the lady of the house". I told them I wasn't here he asked if I was their daughter. He said it was about insurance and said that they needed to send paperwork and would need a six digit code to confirm the addrese (which would be found on my bank statement). I said that I didn't need that and hung up.

Looking for the lady of the house. Asked back for what reason, they said discussing appliance insurance, saying they are domestic&general. I asked what was it to discuss, I'm all covered. So they then said they updated their policies and just talked about updates, whilst all those are original conditions with D&G. I was curious, how they wanted to get to the payment part so went with the game further. They wanted my sort code to confirm to enable them to send the documents to me. Asked why they needed any bank detail to send updated policies. They said for the direct debit and asked for ever details on a debit card. Told them that D&G had all the details and they would have contacted on the usual way and that I wasn't giving any details to him. Just a note, they never called me on my name or asked my name... I hung up after telling them to leave me alone. Then they calked me again...

Said they were domestic and general offered me a bonus if I gave bank sort code etc

Asked if I was the lady of the house? said Appliance insurance expired.

Didn't speak and hung up
