These scammers cannot have got my number from any legal source. I think they are using auto dial software which rings random numbers until it connects. There is always a delay between answering and the person who called speaking. Do not answer the phone and they should go away.
Just had a call from this number 02031212323 it was an Asian lady claiming to be from accident helpline when I questioned her she quickly hung up on me
Indian sounding caller claimed to be from Accident Helpline, I hung up. I'm registered with TPS.
Male, Asian or middle eastern caller called saturday evening, asking if anyone at the address had had an accident. I have had the same call on several occasions and so on this one cut the call off. previously I have asked them to remove my number from their database as I am listed with MPS, and on a couple occasions when i have tried to find out their proper companiy details they have cut me off before answering my questions. often the number is withheld, but this evening the number 02031212323 was listed.
silent number then tone
I'm getting this number also but not replying. When the answerphone cuts in they hang up. Now barred the no so they won't be getting through again. TalkTalk provide the barring service free of charge. Time these fools got a life!
This number has rung our landline twice today but we didn't recognise the number so didn't answer. We are ex directory and have registered with tps but it makes no difference to international calls. Will not be answering thanks to other comments posted. Hopefully they'll give up soon.
0203 1212323 is a number used by a so-called Accident Helpline. They are scammers. They will fraudulently claim they have information about some incident. Give them no information - just disconnect the call. They aren't in London - the "0203" prefix fools many.
Just had a call today after ignoring this number on my landline for 2 weeks I finally answered it (have caller ID) and they just hung up. Not sure why if they are cold callers? Regret doing it though cos they be testing the number to see if it is active. If they call again I'm going to block their number. I'm sick and tired of these shitty calls from different numbers everyday!
Had a call three times in the afternoon yesterday (29.01.2015) on a home land line. Did not answer the first two times. Third time lucky but nobody spoke to me. Good to know who it was. Well done Captain Blue. :-)
Usually a scammer/fake personal accident idiot from India. If I'm in the mood I tell them about how I was paid to kill someone, so I ran them over but there were other pedestrians in the way, one of whom went though the windscreen so I received a small cut from the flying glass as he did so. I can't recall the numberplate as it was a stolen car I torched afterwards. I only got paid £10,000 for the hit so any payment I can get would be great! That usually gets me put through to another scammer who eventually realises I'm taking the piss, especially when I tell them my name's Bruce Wayne.
I haven't answered any of the calls from this number. I am glad after reading all of your comments you have all been really helpful (I really like Jon's comment lol). If these calls get out of hand I think I will answer and blow a whistle down the phone they will soon get the message
Same story but we were also called from 0057 203 121 2323 which in theory is a Colombian number
Phone rang I glanced at the screen and noticed it just said 2323, but I had already picked up the handset then I spoke no one answered I hung up. picked the phone up again and it was still engaged so I rang my mobile no to break the connection.
