They rang claiming to be from Thames Water - I asked some searching questions and they hung up. They quoted bank details so I have informed my bank to not accept any transaction from a company called Homecover UK which is the outfit they said they were calling on behalf of. They explained that they were taking over the plumbing cover from our existing supplier. I've checked with our existing supplier and they are not. I have looked up Homecover UK and basically they are not active per Co House and don't have an online presence - strange company for Thame Water to be dealing with. Could be a scam but maybe spam - just beware.

Claimed to be representing Severn Trent water. As soon as I said I water it in writing, they hung up! Be Aware, police will be informed!
