Wanted to discuss upgrading our call blocker. Dubious
Didn’t answer but got a voicemail which was silent and 20 seconds long
They told me they were 02, i replied I don't use 02 so they asked me who my provider was. To which I replied you're asking about 02 so who I am with is irrelevant. Phone was disconnected at the caller end
Said from Microsoft told them I knew they were scammers phishing for information so hung up call.
Asian-sounding gentleman calling himself "Miles from Fonehouse". I've had these scammers before and contacted Fonehouse about them. They are NOT Fonehouse. Avoid.
Phone showed number as +44 1987 253425 but the text alert from O2 saying I missed a call showed it as being from 0151 314 6006. No one ever phones me so it's definitely the same call.
Said they were from Three and I had been selected for an upgrade. I am not a Three customer!
When I answered the phone they just kept saying hello.... called the number back but does not connect
Yeah he said he was from 02 which o am but I do everything with them only via my o2 app
Hung up when answered. No answer when called back - phone flashed up "Potential Fraud".
Robot caller, as took few seconds to connect to a human, who said they were calling from O2, "my network provider", which they ain't, so asked to removed from their call list, didn't respond just hung up. Avoid/do not answer.
