Called my mobile, I picked up because it was a landline number for Winchester and I know people in Winchester, but there was nobody there. All I could hear were the usual background noises of several people on phone calls in an office. A typical call centre type noise. So it was a robocall, and those are never ever good news. It’ll be some crap about my credit card/ bank account being in mortal danger from scammers unless I give them remote access to my phone, or someone offering me cavity wall insulation at a special price just for this week, or somesuch utterly pointless annoying nonsense. I do wish these individuals would eff off and stop bothering people.
