01942 912245 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

Claimed to be from Scottish Power. Knew my partners name and asked for our address. Was Northern Irish and very unprofessional.

Claimed to be from Ecotricity wanting meter readings, although asked if I was someone who hasn't lived here for 5 years..... threatened me with sending a meter reader out when I said I was too busy, as though I'd be worried by a meter reader!

Wanted my meter readings on behalf of Octopus Energy. Have had them call before. I have smart meter and do not need to send meter readings. Have had this confirmed by Octopus previously.

This is a genuine company called Lowri Beck, who deal with feed in tariff meter inspections amongst other things to do with domestic fuel, on behalf of the suppliers.

Tel 01942 912 245 - It is Lowri Beck who had been asked by my energy supplier to offer me a smart meter. I know it is, not only ‘cos of their announced tel call Nov 2023 I accepted, but from their emails offering the same.

Claimed to be from octopus

Caller said he was Gary from Ecotricity wanting meter readings. When I said I couldn’t provide them righ5 now he hung up without saying goodbye

Tried to call me 4 times. When I call back, "experiencing technical issues" message.

A chap called Gary called claiming to be speaking on behalf of Ecotricity, but he was only interested in getting information that he had no right to know, and his requests made no sense. He terminated the call when I told him so.

Called wanting gas and electric meter readings - could not explain why. Knew name and mobile number - asked for address

Ecotricity bloke called Gary wanted meter readings. Then went on about getting smart meter installed. Wasn't my energy company so was told to Foxtrot Oscar, but kept pushing but I ended call abruptly. Im Sick of con artists.

Exactly same as above! He got fed up with me challenging him and hung up

Claimed to be called 'Gary' from Ecotricity. Asked me to give him a meter reading but I refused. I told him I had already provided meter readings online and I only became suspicious about his motives after I ended the call.
