Called about 3 mins ago saying they were part of EE and wanted to give me some promotions and free accessories with my phone plan

Two missed calls from Wigan. Ignored and blocked

I have had 3 calls a day from this number leave no message been doing. This for the last 6 weeks Had. 2 calls this morning

Rang today Left no Message 25th April 2023 If a scam & calls again, I will report as usual by text to 7726 Scam investigation number. (Google 7726 & you will see it is legit) let’s try to stop these scams. Just text what happened then it will reply asking for the number that called you, send that & Job done.

I've had 16 calls from this number in the last two days. It shows up as "EE Additional Lines" and appears to be from Wigan. I haven't answered any of them, but when I cancel the call, it rings immediately afterwards.

Like all the other comments, this number has called me 4 times, i finally answered and she said she was from EE, i hung up immediately.

Rang me 6 times one after another

Called. Left no message. If it had been someone genuine they would have left one.

Called me 5 times in the matter of 3 hours. Seems to me that they’re a scam caller

Called to say they from ee offering some discount on broadband

Said he was from EE, could save money & due benefits. Asked me to confirm full name, said I wasn’t interested & he got stroppy. I hung up. Now blocked

Claimed he was from EE, wanted my details, I said they already had them. I cut him off. Folled with a txt saying it was Oren from EE. Don't care who he is I don't give personal info over the phone.

Asked for details of my everything to do with EE but number is not coming from EE and wants to know about discounts. Scam hotline

Said he was from EE, offering deals. Asked for some info to check it was me (surname, model of phone - i gave a wrong answer and he seemed to know it was wrong, asking me to try again). He then texted a confirmation number to my phone, a six digit pin. Here I told him I wasn't interested in any deals and he said okay and that they might call again in the future, hanging up. Looked online and the number IS listed on EE uk's website, on a page titled 'What numbers will EE partners call from'. So could be from a third party working with them, still feels very sketchy being cold called and asked for details.

Called and asked for my personal details. They never mentioned a company so blocked and hung up

Someone claiming to be Chloe from EE. Offered to send me a text and a call back when I refused to give my EE password. Caller ID shows up as EE additional lines.

Called me during work hours so didn't answer it but appears to be a dodgy number- no messages were left. Have received more scam calls than ever before recently and sad that every call from an unknown number I assume as being a cold caller/ scam

Claiming to be from EE saying that I eligible for rewards on the account and then asked me for my personal details. When I questioned him. He got very defensive. I then told him I googled the number and knew he was a scammer. Then I hung up. These people are scum.

i contacted EE and they confirmed it was a scammer and the number was not registered with them.

Called claiming to be from ee to offer me discount on my current contracts when I said none are due to be upgraded they wanted full pass code to look into further. Complete scam - hang up

Had 2 missed calls, answered the third. The caller said they were EE and wanted to advise what great offers they had for me. Asked for my personal details, I ended the call.....

This is a scam, do not give any information, a guy rang me from this number, claiming to be ee, i didn't give him any information and hung up.

Guy got stroppy when I asked him if he was a scammer. Hung up on him and just kept calling.

Tried to ask for my EE password full name address and confirm my email. Did not disclose any of this information and he got annoyed and angry when I refused. More needs to be done to stop these scum bags
