phoned today 25.01.22, said were from insurance company, They quoted the company I am with to discuss my car insurance renewal. Once found out I pay annually, they cut the call.

Caller claimed to be calling on behalf of HMRC. Heavy South Asian accent. Very difficult to understand, but threatened to close an account. Definitely a scam.

Very poor and crackly line. Caller asked for me by name but I never confirm until I have clarified who is calling. On asking she said she was calling from some lottery. I suggested that I thought this was a spam call and asked her not to call again. Line then went dead.
