Very clever scammers. Sounded very legit as my wife answered the call but they wouldn’t discuss with her as it was a confidential matter - when I took the call they alleged they were one of my insurance providers and I almost believed them. However, they said they are from “(reputable insurance company)” with regard to my life insurance, am I happy with my policy - and I only have travel insurance with that company. The number is provided by a Leeds based business who are a telecoms company providing business-to-business telecoms connections. ie the number is rented out (if I’ve understood correctly) this making it an alias number.
