01873 903853 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

They called me twice and I missed the calls but I called it back and it said it was unavailable

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Vodafone, informing me about an alleged update affecting all Vodafone SIM cards and stating they would need to replace mine. They sent a security code and asked me to confirm it, which I refused to do. Be cautious: never share security codes with anyone, as this is a common scam tactic. Always verify the caller’s identity directly with Vodafone through official channels before providing any personal information.

Vodafone - asking me if I was happy with my SIM card - I was questioned it and they said they would send email to verify. I says I couldn’t talk and blocked the number

They called me three times in a few minutes and their English was so bad I could not understand a word they were saying.

Frequent calls. Supposedly Vodaphone and problem with my SIM card and my account. Not with Vodaphone

Said they were Vodafone and would send me a new SIM. When I asked how I would know if they were actually Vodafone they said I didn't need to worry about that. Sure.

Said he was from Vodafone regarding a new sim, when I asked him his name he said Peter Peterson

Saying they are with Vodafone and that they have to send a new SIM due to network issues, he actually sent me a verification code which came from a contact “Vodafone” but I hung up the call after this.

"Hallo Madam, this is <name> from your internet provider. How are you today?" We ended the call.
