claiming to be from O2 to reduce my bill by 30% - I played along....didn't know anything other than my number and were passing me to a supervisor to continue the transaction and then hung up when I asked questions

Some sort of call regarding an "Auto" promotion at 40 percent discount due to credit history. Declined and said I wasn't interested. Then caller asked the reason for decline, I reiterated saying I just didn't need it, then they said they weren't going to force me and call was abruptly dropped. Unsure if this was a scam but didn't appear or sound professional enough to be legitimate.

Didn't answer as i don't know anyone in Taynuit, Scotland! Presumed it was a nuisance call, so I've blocked the number (they didn't leave a voicemail so they can't be that desperate to talk to me!).
