About a car accident that never happened, i dont even have a car!
Said calling from EE. Offering 30% discount on monthly plan. I'm on pay as you go. Had cheek to say that impossible as I'm showing as being on monthly plan. Told report to trading standards.... Then they hung up.
Claimed to be from t-mobile; must have forgotten they don’t exist in the Uk now.
I did not answer, they left no message. Cannot have been important ; )
Said they were from Carphone Warehouse and it is a promotion call.
I answered and it was a ghost call- what??
Called claiming to be my network provider O2, told them I’m not with O2 and they hung up, clear scam
Local area code. Says he's 'Daniel from 3 mobile' in a very foreign Asian accent. Scam call.
Said that they could give me unlimited calls texts and internet for £6 a month. Told me they are calling from 3 mobile. I said they can email me the details and then they got stroppy when i said they should have my address if actually calling from 3 mobile. Smells like a scam
Claimed to be EE but clearly not. I have an EE account and asked her to to confirm my account number she basically swore at me and hung up😂. Sad situation that these internet calling systems are no monitored or governed by OFTEL or the likes is beyond me.
Just called me and said they were from telecommunications and due to covid 19 they were offering me 30% off my next 2 months bit. I hung up and blocked.
Didn't answer then checked here, given the comments it was undoubtably some kind of scam. Haven't these people got anything better to do, like getca proper job 😡
Rang earlier. My phone said it was a Newquay number. Which I highly doubt due to the quality of the line, the interruptions, and the fact the caller mispronounced the company she claimed she was calling from. The caller claimed to be from Carphone Wharehouse with a new promotional deal for the iPhone 13. Obviously wasn't AVOID. SCAMMER.
Say they was o2 and they ordered two iPhone 13 using my account, now I can’t trust any number
Just called claiming to be from EE. Very strong accent not sure what he wanted. Number now blocked.
An American company claiming to be marketing. Rang it back and offers to remove from their system. I did not do that as from past experience it increases the number of calls because you responded.
Claimed to be from O2 and texted authorisation code to get 30 percent off my phone bill, clearly a load of rubbish as when I asked him to tell me my name he couldn’t, and when I asked what department he worked in he said the ‘confirmations’ department, which does not exist.
Claimed to be from Scottish Power but was clearly an internet call and a strong Indian english accent and an area code I didn't know. To the best of my knowledge, there are no Scottish Power offices in Newquay and then I see something about these numbers being registered to an Internet company....seems 100% dodgy.
Called and asked about my mobile phone provider (virgin mobile) and asked what payment plan I was on and offered to reduce the costs by 30%. Seemed like a scam.
Just ignored a call from this number as phone detected it as fraud.

I was already suspicious as this number came with a possible scam warning but I answered it anyway. A woman's voice...
Nothing I couldn't understand what he was saying so I hung up
