01782 971401 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

They keep calling me every few days - phone never seems to ring, it just appears in voicemail. They say they're Advantis Credit and they've written to me about 'an urgent matter' (they haven't) and need to speak to me so I must call back. They never use my name or anything that suggests it's nothing more than phising. Seems very scammy to me.

Didn't answer they calked so early, I always come here for others comments to check who they are then I blocked them!

A scam company asking for your details full of nonsense.

I do recognise this number so I did not answer the phone but a check revealed it mat be debt scam.

I don't know who this is or how they got my number, nuisance callers

This is a debt collection company everyone honestly there name is Advantis not as outline in other messages. They called me and wrote text you name it hundreds of times over a debt. They are ruthless so you need to check no debts registered in your name or it affects you & they don’t leave you alone 😕 I complained but still getting them calling & im on my own disabled and half deaf they know this but persist!

Debt collection agency - Advantis Told me I had a debt with Vodafone. Followed up with Vodafone and reminded them I had been over billed and had a credit! Advantis wanted me to pay more. Lazy billing, auditing and follow up by Vodafone initiated calls.

3 calls in 3 days telling me it was regarding a business debt--either a scam or debt collection agency--

This is a scam they said they were from tax office .Rubbish

I spoke to the lady and she kept saying to repeat my name and address. She would not tell me the reason for her call. I am not sure whether we should report this to the police. This is a land line number and can be traced.

This is a scam call. They left a voice message asking to call back but not even saying who they were. Ignore this call.

"This is a call from Avensis. Please press 1 to speak to an advisor. Please note, you are not being charged for this call" They have called me twice in the last couple of weeks, around 8:00am each time. Initially asking for personal details to 'confirm my identify' before even telling me what the purpose of the call was. Sounds like a scam.

Left voicemail with number. Couldn’t make out what she said the company was.

Scam asks to ring back

have been receiving calls since last week from this number and they keep leaving voicemails to ring them back - The calls are usually between 11am and 1.pm

Had a few calls this week, when answered, woman says from someone beginning with A , and you are not being charged for the call. To continue press 1. " Think I'm that daft"?

Repeat caller

Got a text saying to call them about a personal business matter. Sent them a text back saying that I will call them if they know what my name is. Got no response. Spam!!!

I knew it was a scam, I spoke to this woman for 6 min leading her on. She finally hung up on me when I said "suck my knob scammer" a bit upset she didn't reply.

Automated Message 12th Feb 2020 @ 13:40 "This is a call from Avensis. Please press 1 to speak to an advisor. Please note, you are not being charged for this call"

Called 3 times in a week leaving automated message to call back not saying who they are or why definately a scam

Called a few times in the past weeks. Always asked to call back. Suspect scam calls.

Automated call saying please call your Bankers on the 01782 971401 obviously a Scam as your Bankers would call and ask you to go to your nearest branch and talk to the manager or a member of staff regarding your accounts, do not call this number

Automated call with a voice message asking you to call this number back .... yeh right!!!

Unknown caller - automated message which I couldn't hear properly, but I think repeated the number
