they block their number from a landline. blocked them now - obviously dodgy
Delay in answering. I kept saying hello. Nobody spoke. Call centre scam suspected.
Indian accent, bad line. Said he was from Currys PC world. Kept asking which network I was on. I asked why he needed to know, he wouldn't tell me, but kept asking. Eventually he hung up. Probably a scam
Phoned me twice today. When I answer it sounds like a call centre in the background and they hang up on me .
Said from three mobile but couldn't tell me what mobile make I own. Scammers with an Indian accent.
Claims to be from Carphone Warehouse. Very strong south Asian accent. Caller hung up immediately I advised I subscribe to the TPS.
Indian lady pretending to be from o2 ‘Discount Department’ offering 30% off my account. As I’ve just renewed my contract I’ve reported the number to o2 as this is an obvious scam.
Answered call, hung up straight away. When I called back the number and said it was invalid.
Didn’t answer but tried ringing back as same dialling code as my Mother in law so thought I’d better check. Didn’t connect so clearly just a scam caller.

Said they were from EE. Started by offering a phone, but when I said that I was sim only they offered me some very generous offers, and didn't seem to really know what they were offering. Took a minute to realise, but a clear scam

I could not understand the caller; sounded European, not middle or Far East. Caller, female, ended call when I explained I could not understand.
Claimed to be from Fonehouse, scam caller from overseas using leased UK lines. The numbers keep changing but the scam remains the same.
Hello my name is John and I’m from Currys PC World. The delay in talking and the heavy Indian accent of ‘John’ made me think this wasn’t a call from Currys PC World, or from the UK for that matter.
Answered call nobody at the end of the line.
