I suspected a scam but engaged with the South Asian accented person. She requested my bank details in order to transfer a rebate to me. She asked if I had ever had car insurance, so I said "yes, from the AA" and she immediately said the rebate was from "them". I asked her who, and she couldn't remember. I said, "Direct Line?" and she agreed with me. Absolute thieving scam mongers.

When I asked caller what company she was from she hung up.

Called with what sounded like an Indian voice, when I asked her to repeat herself, she ended call

Called but no response was given when I picked up the call. After 10 or so seconds they ended the call.
