Boiler maintenance, asked if I was the lady of the house, a bit non-plussed when I asked if he knew my name. I rang off whilst he was still burbling on. Blocking number of last caller.

Woman asked me if I was the lady of the house and I said yes then blocked the number as a scam. I have to answer because as soon as hear a voice I can then block number otherwise block does not work.

The number is based in Malmesbury, Wiltshire, although it sounded like a non-UK based very busy call centre. When I asked (twice) which organisation he was calling from, the person did not answer, but kept talking over me and asking if the number he had cold called was residential and if so, was I the lady of the house? I refused to answer his questions and said that would report him and his organisation if I received another call.
