0161 814 0253 Neutral Who called me from this phone number?

Just had a call from these... some dim-witted youngster in an asian/mancunian accentasking me about the accident I'd reported. I asked him what incident, he responded with "You reported an incident within the last 2 and a half years"... I asked what the incident was, he repeated what he'd previously said... I asked what the incident was exactly.. he went quiet and then said "someone bumped into the side of your car".. I honestly think he made that up on the spot!! haha! Complete fabrication... Obviously scamming!

Same as others saying I had a motor accident I don't even drive or own a car something strange!!!!

Similar to other post, answered last week, and caller saying I'd had recent accident etc. Load of rubbish, I haven't, so definitely suspect and should be banned. Ignored today's call but feel like answering and just staying quiet, so I waste their time not just mine!

this number rings my mobile,twice a day...i dont ans it

Just had a call from this number telling me they had been contacted by someone who had hit my car in my home town (where the car is registered) Said I hadn't had an accident in last 3 years, they said no someone has owned up to hitting your car, gave a model colour and Reg of a car that wasn't mine, said it was car that hit me, got quite shirty at that point. Explained there is nothing wrong with my car and I wasn't interested! They put down the phone! AVOID!

Fraud. "We're just calling to help you complete the form to release the money due you for your no fault minor motor incident within the last 2 and a half years." Lots of technical sounding detail that's actually irrelevant. It's a deceitful company trying to drum up business, fraudulent if necessary. Unsurprisingly she wouldn't give her name when I asked on answering the phone, and she hung up when challenged as to the legality of her activity.

Phoned my mobile, within a minute,straight after another Manchester number 01619023788, presume its same company, do not answer numbers i do not know, wish these companys would stop it,i am an HGV driver very distracting, government should put a stop to these companys.
