Not sure if this is genuine. I've had someone call me and asking me to ring them then an email to ring this number. I'm contacting Scottish Power myself to ask if this is genuine. I don't trust this especially as I have only had new meter installed July.
Received email to call this number . Said it was Scottish Power had to call and arrange engineer to come and update my meter urgently. Checked to see if anyone else had received same.
Caller alleged they were calling on behalf of Scottish Power to arrange visit to fix faulty smart meter. I don't have an account with Scottish Power.
Came up as Scam/Fraud, I answered in complete silence and got silence in return.
Claimed to be from electricity supplier and if I wanted new supplier I should call & then I hung up. Caller couldn't be heard clearly with volume at max.
