Daily, weekly calls for the last few months from +44 1246 488759. Think it’s a scam. I’ve blocked their number now after them leaving 100’s of automated voicemails.

Left me a voicemail saying I would benefit from changing energy suppliers…. I don’t need to I am happy with mine - blocked the number

This number calls me regularly. I've blocked them, but still get messages left - 4 this week! Even if I was interested in the product, that is not the way to get a sale!

I had this number 01246 488759 called on my mobile phone yesterday morning 22nd June at 10:46am and another one this morning at 10:54am and also leave a Voicemail unknown and luckily that my mobile phone won't let me listen to it.

Utilita trying to get you to switch energy companies

15/06/23 Utilita Energy company supposedly calling about Smart meters. When asked how they got my number, caller said "oh, I see you already have a smart meter, sorry to bother you, bye."

have asked company to take me off there call list nine times. have told them they are breaking gdpr rules and i was recording call and they hanged up on me

No idea what they’re selling or what the scam is but they used my forename as a surname = immediate red flag, so I said goodbye and hung up.

Rang me once, recognised the number from before. Never answered but after looking at these comments I’ll assume it’s best I don’t waste my time answering it.

I have had alot of marketing/scam artist ring me they never remove me from their lists & so I don't pick the phone up and answer them anymore it's just harassment it should be stopped as I found out some years ago that councils give out some of your details without your permission, I don't know if that has been changed over the years? This caller went over to voicemail seems to be what they resort to if you don't answer them. I've blocked them but I know just like all the other callers I've had they will try a new similar number or just pass onto another area to ring up from the same company. I may invest in no phone at all just for some peace.

Company pretending to be Utilita left an automated answer message, not Utilita just a scam company. Blocked number but for some reason still getting calls

after receiving numerous answer machine messages i finally was able to answer the call today. i admit i was a bit sharp and told them "stop calling, im not interested, take my number of the list" have reported them to ICO (information commissioners office)

Constantly calling and leaving voicemail answered and they said they were utilita energy company trying to get me to switch and get a new smart meter Scottish man really pushy not taking no for an answer after me getting angry and firmly telling him no I don’t want to change he cut me off but they are still calling and leaving voicemail messages there should be a law stopping this annoying harassment

They use a block of numbers identified under 124648 so any numbers you see will be on that block of numbers. BT must be making a fortune out of all the cold calling they Utilita are doing. It is most annoying when they are blocked but still seem able to leave a voicemail saying this call is nothing to worry about we will call you again later!

I recieve this call from yesterday 2 x and left me a voice msg about utility bills I don’t have idea what they on about till today I also received a call and voicemail didn’t answer.

Blocked this number late last year after requesting they deleted my details, and surprise surprise they have started calling me again 3 times a day for the last week.

I have exactly the same issue. How are they able to still leave voicemails after you block the number?

Everyday for past few weeks, i receive two to three calls a day. Utility company i think. Have placed in reject calls yet still calls being received. This number is harassment ..

Today alone 7 attempts. Blocked the number months ago stil persists although I only get notified they have tried to call its unbelievable how many times hey attempt. Its daily.

I think I’ve just had my first voicemail from this number, so blocked the number straight away but reading the comments above I feel this won’t be the last message? The robot said “ it’s nothing to worry about “ and mentioned something to do with utilita and they would get in touch at a later time 🤷‍♀️ My phone didn’t ring in the first place! So how do they get to leave voicemails without calling?

This number rings everyday on the home phone and to my mobile. I do not answer it.

I get calls from this number daily they leave me voicemails I have answered it once or twice and the same recorded message from my voicemails is playing when I answer the phone it's very annoying and says it's utilita.

I've blocked this number and still get messages on voice mail every day.

I had a call from this company today after saying hello multiple times a female answered but she seemed strange as she sounded almost like a robot, she told me ive requested them to call me through online but yet she said i was a miss when ive been married for a few years so when I argued back telling her to take me off she got longer gaps to answer she was definitely a computer with someone writing it answer and questions and a female would do the talking.

Calls from this number at least 2 times a day asking for me to switch utility bills. Blocked their number but they still leave messages! It’s been 2 months of none stop harassment.

The person is very dodgy and rude, kept bulshitting that I am calling for smart metre and you are qualify for that. When I asked for which company you calling from, kept saying that utility company. They wants your all informations. They are scammer.

Didnt answer but then called the number back and got an automated msg form utilita giving me options to either request a call back or remove my number from their records. Needless to say im sure you can guess which one i picked. So it may be worth calling the number back so you can use this option.

I’ve been called many times from This number over a number of years along is that Mr Gill ? No it is not and I’ve told them that they don’t listen . Insurance fraud I believe.

Some energy company (I did not stay on the line long enough to find out which one) using the bloody government's insistence that everyone has to be upgraded to a smart-meter. I told her 'No, I don't want one!' and hung up and blocked the number! Job well done!
