Foreign woman, clearly in a call centre, asked for me by name and then wanted me to confirm I am the homeowner at an address I left 7 years ago. Call ended & number blocked.
I didn't say "hello" so AI call couldn't detect I was human and it cut off the call. If you get a call from anyone my suggestion is don't speak until the caller speaks to you first, most SCAMMERS cut the call if you don't speak. Never say "Yes" or "No" they cannot record this and use it by rearranging what you have said, don't give ANY personal information. If the call is family or friend they will always use your name and ask if it's you. Some sellers will say your name if they have it, so just ask what they want (not yes or no) then decide if you want to know more. Stay safe, this number is a scam.
