Apparently from EE offering latest iPhone, I got him to repeat it to make sure. I said I didn’t need an upgrade and hung up. Knew it was a scam from the start.
Very faint when i answered the phone, couldnt hear what they were saying. After several times of telling them i couldnt hear them properly they terminated the call. Pakistani accent, i believe it was a call to try and scam me.
They give you missed call so you ring them back, DO NOT RING THEM BACK cos they'll connect your line for making international calls that'll cost you an arm and a leg. Beware!!!
Supposedly from Curry mobile (or three) couldn’t hear properly due to everyone in background chatting and the irony as the caller sounded indian and said curry mobile
Called saying they were from Carphone Warehouse. Had another similar call days before and they got aggressive when I asked for the name of the account they were discussing
Woman with thick accent, said she was from 02, asked why she was calling, couldn’t make her out tbh, so I just kept saying I can’t here you!!! Eventually she hung up. Happened on a Saturday!!!!
Every Saturday a 'supposed' phone company offer a mobile deal. Really? Scammers, told them where to go as happens each Saturday. Have blocked. Beware this number.
Said they were from O2 but I’m not with O2.
Said was phone company offering some phone plan. I told him I wasn’t interested and he wanted to know why so I hung up.
They introduced themselves as "phone company" and refer to be as a "friend" They were offering me some phone plan and were not responding to me even I said I'm not interested. Very aggressive marketing, AVOID
Supposedly from EE telecommunications? Which kinda raised a bit of a red flag right away! I’m with EE an they don’t ever introduce themselves that way. Basically wanting to offer me the latest phone on a price plan? When I politely told them I had just got that phone they cut me off again with the offer an that it was a simple yes or no question?! Well how are you going to offer me this deal when I’ve just literally got this phone on my price plan with the very company you are supposed to be calling from?? Yeah, couldn’t answer that one?! So I hung up before they did!! Charming person!
